Presentations from South Carolina Resilience Workshops

The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and the NADO Research Foundation hosted three economic resilience training workshops throughout South Carolina May 16-19, 2016. Designed to support communities and regions impacted by the October 2015 floods, these day-long workshops provided a foundation in economic resilience planning and covered issues such as: post-disaster economic recovery, economic diversification, business retention and expansion strategies, creative recovery financing strategies, effective communication and outreach tools, and much more. Workshops were held in Florence, Newberry, and Summerville. Presentations from the workshop are available in PDF format below.
