Economic Recovery Forum at the 2018 Annual Conference
The 2018 Annual Conference in Atlanta, Georgia included a morning forum, on October 3, on Economic Recovery from extreme weather events. The purpose of the forum was to capture and analyze the insights from economic developers in disaster-impacted communities and share best practices.
The sessions featured perspectives from:
- communities in Puerto Rico, Texas, and the U.S. Virgin Islands
- economic recovery volunteers sent to Florida, Texas, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands; and
- federal officials from EDA, FEMA, and the SBA Office of Disaster Assistance.
