In order to provide the most up to date information, both the Federal and Business Assistance sections of this website are being updated weekly on Wednesdays. 

Federal

Information on the $2 trillion CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security) of 2020, as well as federal departments responses.

Assistance for Business/Employers

Business Continuity - Examples from the economic development community are listed, ranging in geographic size from small towns to states. General business continuity resources are listed, along with example plans, telework resources, and checklists. 

Financial Assistance - Newly added to this section is a resource from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation detailing eligibility and accessibility: Coronavirus Emergency Loans: Guide and Checklist for Small Businesses and Nonprofits. Also included are examples from EDOs and a list of definitions of the types of financial assistance commonly distributed in times of crisis.
