EDA Announces $1.5 Billion Supplemental for Coronavirus Relief

The U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) has released the Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for their $1.5 billion supplemental appropriation from the CARES Act. Funding requests can range from $100,000 to $30,000,000, and should pertain to projects designed to “prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus, … including for necessary expenses for responding to economic injury as a result of coronavirus.” Eligible applicants include district organizations, Indian Tribes, political subdivisions (states, counties, cities, etc.), institutions of higher education, and public or private non-profit organizations.
