EDA Posts Resources for Applying for American Rescue Plan Act Funding
On July 27 and 29, The Economic Development Administration (EDA) held two webinars on its resources from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021. Several EDA officials explained the plan of the agency to distribute the $3 billion supplemental appropriations. They also described the details of several programs and their application processes.
Altogether, the $3 billion appropriations are divided into six programs:
- State Planning, Research, and Networks ($90 million)
- Build Back Better Regional Challenge ($1 billion)
- Travel, Tourism, and Outdoor Recreation ($750 million)
- Economic Adjustment Assistance ($500 million)
- Indigenous Communities ($100 million)
- Good Job Challenge ($500 million)
