EDA hosted a webinar on its Economic Adjustment Assistance program to provide a better understanding of the program’s details. Of the six EDA American Rescue Plan Act funding programs, the Economic Adjustment Assistance program is the most flexible and can fund the widest range of economic development projects.

As part of its $3 billion American Rescue Plan Act funding, EDA has allocated $750 million to the Travel, Tourism, and Outdoor Recreation program which aims to assist communities that have suffered economic injury because of job losses in the travel, tourism, and outdoor recreation sectors.

The EDA held a webinar diving deeper into the Build Back Better Regional Challenge program, one of the six unique programs being offered through recently updated investment priorities. It is an effort to help communities build back better by accelerating economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.
