On March 5th, 2014, IEDC held a day-long, interactive workshop on the basics of how to deliver hands-on business continuity training for small businesses in a community. These three presentations were presented throughout the day and provided tactical knowledge on how attendees could facilitate high quality business continuity workshops in their communities.
These presentations provide:
- Tips on how to develop, market, facilitate and fund your own business continuity workshop;
- Practical advice on engaging your network of businesses in preparedness efforts for any type of crisis;
- Step-by-step instructions for delivering “Open For Business” curriculum through an interactive training format.
These presentations are intended for representatives of economic development organizations (EDO), chambers of commerce, Small Business and Technology Development Centers (SBTDC), community colleges, SCORE, CDFI, nonprofit business support organizations, and business and community leaders.
