This presentation discusses the economic issues that commonly arise after a disaster, and presents strategies and action steps for short, intermediate and long-term economic recovery. Additional strategies for resiliency and preparedness are also presented. International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Director of Federal Grants, Carrie Mulcaire, gave this presentation on August 27, 2012 to a group of economic recovery practitioners convened by IEDC, National Association of Development Organizations (NADO), and the Business Civic Leadership Center (BCLC).
